Diffusers

You see them everywhere.  What are they doing over there in the corner of the room?  Why are so many people choosing to use them? Those are probably a few of the questions you ask when you see a diffuser in use.

We have the one in the lobby and we have four others in use in the massage and chiropractic treatment rooms. We don’t do it for just for their appearance, but for the benefits they have to offer all of us. There is no more efficient way to get the biggest benefit with your essential oils. This allows you to use just a few drops for hours and with multiple people!

We use and recommend using ultrasonic diffusers for a variety of reasons.  They have a small disc that vibrates so amazingly fast that the water and oil become a vapor and disperse into the air.  The reason we recommend this type is because the oil doesn’t change chemically during the process. Heat diffusers change the chemical constituents, which then, of course, change how the oils work!  The ultrasonic diffuser gets the oil dispersed over a greater area, allowing for more effect with less oil than an evaporative oil diffuser.  Diffusers may vary greatly in price. They all diffuse, but their lifespan may be different.  So for a long life and high quality machine you might consider purchasing one of the doTERRA diffusers here or in the office.

We have said before that not all essential oils are made equal.  You may think you can use the cheap oils in your diffuser. But remember that when those oils are getting diffused, and you are breathing them in, the oil is traveling across your olfactory nerve and can cross the blood brain barrier. You don’t want cheap oils that contain chemicals and impurities in your brain!  So, enjoy the freedom in using any doTERRA oil and what it has to offer.
