What’s Happening at Body Logic: September 2020

Best Wishes, Dr. Matt!

It is with appreciation and gratitude that we said farewell to Dr. Matt on August 21, 2020.  Click here to read a letter from Dr. Matt to his Body Logic community of staff and patients.

Dr. Amanda and Dr. Scott will be taking over Dr. Matt’s patients’ care as Body Logic adapts to only having two doctors.  We plan to hire another doctor in the future, but will not be rushing the process.  We want to ensure we find the best fit for our office culture and our patients’ needs.  Given the quick transition and the challenge of having school-age children, Dr. Amanda and Dr. Scott are doing their best to accommodate patient hours of availability.  We will keep you informed of any schedule changes and/or increased availability as we progress into the fall.  Please let us know if you have any specific needs and we will do our best to meet them!

If you are unable to get a chiropractic appointment as quickly as desired, we encourage you to schedule a massage with our amazing team of massage therapists.  Click here to read about the different massage types available.  And see below for special pricing through the month of September!

Please Continue Protecting Each Other During the Pandemic

We empathize with our Virginia Beach community as we have all felt challenged by the COVID-19 pandemic.  Who knew it would last this long?!  Regardless, it remains the utmost importance that we keep our patients, clients, and staff safe and healthy.  We will continue asking questions regarding your health and any potential concern for contact with someone that had a positive COVID-19 test since your last entry into the office. Body Logic requires all staff and patrons to utilize face coverings as stated in Executive Order 63 that remains in effect for Virginia.

Please note, Body Logic is a healthcare facility that provides care to many people with a variety of health conditions.  We ask you to understand that some patients have health conditions that are negatively impacted by wearing a face covering and, therefore, are not required to as per Executive Order 63.  Body Logic does not discriminate against nor neglect care for a patients that fall into this category.  Our sanitary practices are within CDC standards and we care about your health.  We understand and respect if you make the choice not to enter our facility based on the possibility that someone may not have a face covering.  Only you can determine your personal preference and level of risk of exposure.  Stop the spread.  Wear a mask.  And please be respectful of each other.

July 2020 at Body Logic

Can you believe we’re half-way through 2020!?!  It seems like the fastest and longest 6 months EVER… but that’s just a matter of perception.  For some of us, 2020 has brought challenges and struggles that have never been endured.  For some of us, 2020 has brought blessings and silver-linings in abundance.  And for some us, life just continued on with minimal impact on the day-to-day.  I truly believe that all of us have been taught lessons in patience and gratitude.  At Body Logic, we hope that our care and compassion for our patients and clients have been positive lights that have provided comfort during such uncertain times.  We are here for you.

As we enter July, we have our usual updates around the office to share with you.  And we wish you all a safe and healthy July 4th!!

First, Let’s Talk About Health!

How are you?  How is your body?  How is your head?  How is your heart?

Everyone is experiencing the current state of the world through their own eyes and bodies.  And not everyone is the same!  One commonality, however, is that we all endure stress.  Stress can be physical, mental, and/or emotional in outward presentation.  But the body doesn’t differentiate where the stress is coming from- it’s just stress!

In order to combat the stress, it is essential that the body is fueled with quality vitamins and minerals.  If we don’t have quality building blocks of nutrition, how can we expect the body to thrive and protect its immune system.  You can try to get it in your diet, but it’s not easy!  Standard Process has made it simpler than ever to support your body with the raw materials it needs.  Body Logic is offering 10% off the different packets available for the month July!  Check them out below.  Most are available for purchase in the office.  And if not, we can help you gain access!

Happy 3-year Anniversary, Dr. Matt!

Dr. Matt celebrates his 3rd Anniversary with our Body Logic Team this month.  And to celebrate, he’s taking some much deserved time off!  Dr. Matt will be out of the office July 1-10. He will return to his normal patient hours on Monday, July 13th.  We are incredibly grateful for Dr. Matt and are lucky to have his skill set and kindness on our team.  Dr. Amanda and Dr. Scott will be treating patients during his time off.  Even if you’re a “regular” Dr. Matt patient, you are welcome to see one of the other doctors while Dr. Matt is out of the office.

Welcome to the Team, Harmony!

Harmony is our newest addition to our front desk staff at Body Logic.  The pandemic delayed her start date, which was originally intended for March!  But we are happy to have her with us now.  We’ll be updating our website soon to include pictures and more.  In the meantime, here’s a little info about Harmony:

Harmony has lived in Virginia Beach for 6 years. She is originally from Vancouver, BC, Canada.  She studied her undergraduate degree at the University of British Columbia and Homeopathy at the Vancouver Homeopathic Academy. She is very happy to be working in a holistic clinic and joining a team of people who love what they do.

In her spare time, Harmony enjoys many outdoor activities including water sports, skiing, hiking, biking and yoga. She loves being married and a Mom to two amazing children.

Welcome to the Team, Jenessa!

Jenessa is our newest addition to our massage therapist team at Body Logic.  She rounds out our team of massage therapists with an enthusiastic drive to help each of her clients.  We’ll be updating our website soon to include pictures and more.  Here’s a little info about Jenessa until the updates are made:

Jenessa comes to Body Logic from the panhandle of Florida. Jenessa brings her passion for massage as well as knowledge from working many roles in the field of Physical Therapy. Jenessa is trained in many modalities of Massage Therapy some of which include Swedish, Sports, Deep Tissue, Cupping, and Aromatherapy. Each massage Jenessa performs is carefully crafted to respond to exactly the type of bodywork that is best fit for each client. Her goal for each session is to enable her clients to perform at their optimal level in both work and recreation.

When Jenessa is not practicing massage, she loves cooking, gardening, and spending sweet time with her St.Bernard Captain and her rescue cat 2-Stroke.

Modified hours and face coverings remain in effect.

Forward Virginia: Phase 3 is effective starting July 1st.  Although this allows for some leniency in the number of people allowed in a given area, Executive Order 63 remains in effect.  We understand and appreciate the different views surrounding face coverings.  And we continue to appreciate your awareness and respect for your fellow Body Logic patrons.  Please feel comfortable to discuss your limitations regarding wearing a face covering with your provider once in the treatment room.

Body Logic will continue to run on our most recent modified hours.  Massage is available Monday/Wednesday/Thursday 9am-6pm and Tuesday/Friday 9am-5pm.  We will remain closed on Saturdays.  To see the doctors’ schedules, click here!

June 2020 at Body Logic

We welcome June with open arms!  Although it is an uncertain time, the sun is shining, the birds are singing, and the Earth is bountiful!  We wish you all the opportunity to enjoy the warmer weather (when it’s not raining) and share in our gratitude for the beauty that surrounds us.  Change is everywhere… and below you will find the changes and updates of Body Logic for June 2020!

Virginia mandate: face coverings required in public places.

On Tuesday, May 26th the Governor of Virginia made a statement and released a new statewide mandate, Safer at Home: Phase One.  Click here to read the details of Executive Order 63.  At Body Logic, we are respecting the mandate and ask that all patrons and staff wear their face coverings in the office.  We will continue to adapt as recommendations are made and we work through the different phases of reopening.  Click here to see the email content sent to your inbox on Thursday, May 28th.

Stay clean and speak kindly!

Please continue being diligent with your personal cleanliness practices!  Hand-washing is of the utmost importance as people begin emerging from their homes.  And we ask that you continue to monitor your risk and any signs for potential symptoms.  We also recognize that this is a very unpredictable time… who knows what will happen as Virginia and the rest of the nation journey through the different phases of reopening?!  We ask that while in our office, you are respectful of fellow patrons and their views of the pandemic.  Body Logic is a place for healing and comfort.  Please refrain from discussing social and political views in the office.  We greatly appreciate your cooperation and efforts to help make everyone that enters Body Logic feel comfortable and welcome.

Massage is Open!

Body Logic reopened massage services starting May 18th.  So far it has been a success!  Our massage therapists are taking care of our beloved clients with caution and compassion.  Extra cleaning between clients is mandatory.  Please remember to wait until your appointment time to enter the office.  The fewer people we have in small spaces, the healthier we can be!

Picture of Ashley - a massage therapist at Body Logic Massage & Chiropractic in Virginia Beach

Mid-June will bring change to Body Logic’s massage staff as we say goodbye to our dear Ashley, who has been with us since October 2018.  She has proudly cared for many of our members and patients.  And we will miss her!  She is moving back to Baltimore, MD to be closer to family and start another adventure.  Thank you, Ashley, for all the people you have helped in our beautiful Virginia Beach community.  We wish you the best!

Additional chiropractic hours available starting June 15th!

We are happy to report that we are opening additional chiropractic hours of availability for Dr. Scott and Dr. Amanda starting the week of June 15th.  Click here to view patient hours for each doctor at Body Logic.

Congratulations Graduates!

From preschoolers and kindergartens to high school and college grads, CONGRATULATIONS!!  The world may not be as you expected it to be as you embark on your next journey… but that doesn’t take away how proud you should be of your accomplishments.  From Body Logic to you, we only wish you future success!

Thank you Teachers and School Administration!

As we watch graduates move on to the next adventure, our school teachers and administrators are in the thick of it!  They have adapted and overcome some very big obstacles with more decisions yet to be made.  To honor the hard work and dedication these professionals have shown us, we are offering these individuals $15 off regularly priced massages throughout the month of June!  Simply bring your school administration ID to your massage and you will receive the discount at checkout.  We appreciate YOU!

Keeping Your Back Happy During Quarantine

Welcome to the world of adapting with the times!  Let’s be honest… it feels like we’ve been flipped upside down, turned around, and then told to walk straight and not touch anything or anyone.  It hasn’t been easy.  And that includes the physical changes we’re enduring!  Trying to keep your body “happy” during this time can be very challenging.

Kudos to those of you that have viewed Virginia’s stay-at-home orders as an opportunity to focus on your health!  Many patients have been increasing their activity points through yard work, walks in the neighborhood, and trying new exercise routines through various internet resources.

On the other hand, we have patients that have been working longer hours, sitting in front of the computer, munching on unnecessary snacks, and then binge-watching Netflix.  There has to be a happy medium!

How can I set up my at-home workstation to prevent my back from hurting?

Not everyone has their floor plans designed to accommodate a home-office.  We’ve heard patients describe their set up from lounging on the couch to sitting at kitchen counter on a bar stool- neither of which are good for the back!  When working from home, it’s very important to remember to get up every 30-60 minutes to loosen up the body and give your back a break.  Below are the American Chiropractic Association’s recommendations for an ergonomic work-station.  Can you change your workstation to lessen the strain on your back??

  • Keep your feet on the floor or on a footrest, if they don’t reach the floor.
  • Don’t cross your legs. Your ankles should be in front of your knees.
  • Keep a small gap between the back of your knees and the front of your seat.
  • Your knees should be at or below the level of your hips.
  • Adjust the backrest of your chair to support your low- and mid-back or use a back support.
  • Relax your shoulders and keep your forearms parallel to the ground.
  • Avoid sitting in the same position for long periods of time.

Why do I hurt more?? I’ve never been more active in my life!

Adding in activity is good for the mind, body, and spirit… however, the body doesn’t always know how to handle it!

Gardening- Thankfully, the pandemic hit Virginia Beach in the early spring time providing ample opportunity for outdoor activities.  Just a couple weeks ago, USA Today posted an article about the increase in gardening throughout the US.  Gardening is an excellent outdoor activity!  But it comes with sore muscles and achy backs if you’re not accustomed to the work.

TIPS

  1. Walk around the yard and warm up prior to beginning specific gardening activities.  Simply walking around helps increase blood flow to the muscles, preparing them for more strenuous activity.  Try alternating between short, quick steps and long lunge-like steps to get the heart pumping and add a little stretch.
  2. Squat to reach the ground.  Avoid excessive straight-legged bending at the waist when performing yard work.  This puts significant stress on the discs between your vertebrae and strains the muscles in the back.  Although a stretch is felt in the hamstrings and back, prolonged forward bending makes those muscles work harder.  And the pain is felt later, once your body has a chance to relax again!
  3. Alternate hands when pulling weeds.  We often rely on our dominant hand to do most of the work.  However, this can cause significant body imbalance from right to left.  Work both sides of the body to distribute the demands!

Cooking- With the closure of restaurants due to COVID-19, Americans are cooking more than ever before.  This means more time standing in the kitchen and looking down while preparing meals.  Hopefully healthier choices are being made!  But that doesn’t make for any less physical stress on the body from doing more in the kitchen!

TIPS

  1. Walk around the kitchen. Just like walking around the yard, the movement helps warm up the body.  You can gather ingredients and utensils needed for meal prep.  It also provides an opportunity to evaluate your kitchen set up for easier use!
  2. Open a cabinet door to rest a foot.  This is especially helpful when washing dishes.  Resting a foot on the cabinet prevents you from locking your knees and makes it easier to squat down when necessary.  Alternating which foot is resting in the cabinet also helps change up how your weight is distributed, often relieving back pain.

Exercising- Now that working from home is encouraged, and in some cases mandated, people have more time available for exercising.  An incredibly positive change for many!  But we’re also exercising from home which leads to more injuries when supervision is not available.

TIPS

  1. Slow and steady is the best method if you’re new to introducing exercise… and this includes people that were avid athletes in their younger years, but haven’t had the opportunity to maintain an athletic physique since the glory days of old.  There’s no shame in going back to the basics!
  2. Remember to stretch.  For a lot of people, exercise means sweating and burning calories.  Unfortunately, stretching is often neglected with that mentality.  Tight muscles are often a source of ache and generalized discomfort.  It is also essential for preventing injuries!
  3. Discuss your exercise routine with our chiropractors. There’s no better qualified physician than chiropractors when it comes to understanding the mechanics of the body.  Let us help you create the best routine for your body!

Here are 2 exercises and 2 stretches to help you handle the changes in activity!

Fight Allergies and Clean with Essential Oils- Mother’s Day Gift Certificate Sales Begin

Hello to all of our wonderful Body Logic patrons!!

What a month March was?!  With all that is going on in the world these days we hope that everyone is doing their part in staying safe, distancing from social settings, and washing those hands like its going out of style! At Body Logic, we are taking our part to ensure that we are all following distancing guidelines within the office as well as keeping the office a safe space through cleanliness practices.

We shortened our patient hours and have spread our staff members into different shifts to decrease the amount of overlap keeping safe distances from one another.  Please click here to view available hours for all three of the doctors. We appreciate your flexibility as we continue to be as available as much as we can.

Essential Oils to the Rescue!

As you all know, we love our essential oils! We have been using doTERRA’s OnGuard products in our office constantly to battle against the germs.  Since spring has sprung, we recognize that many of you are suffering from seasonal allergies!  doTERRA has natural relief for you!  We love using the products from the Introductory Kit: lavender, lemon, and peppermint. Blending the combination of all 3 products can provide allergy relief!  You can blend the combination in a diffuser or make your own roller ball to apply directly to your skin.  Additionally, lemon is also great to use when cleaning! If you start running low on other cleaning supplies that are in high demand right now, check out your essential oil stash for help!  If you need to restock and do not want to leave your house, you can place an order here!

We miss our Massage Therapists!

Most of you should be aware by now of the governor’s mandated closure for all salons of any sorts which included our team of massage therapists. Per Gov. Northam’s request, we stopped offering massages starting March 25th.  We will resume massage scheduling as soon as the mandate has been lifted. We will not be drafting the massage membership program to be fair to our members who will not have the opportunity to schedule.  We will also extend gift certificate expiration dates, to allow for extra time to be able to use your gift certificate.  We are hopeful that we will have our awesome team back address your health care needs sooner rather than later.  For more information, click here.

Gift Certificate Sales

Although providing massages is currently on hold, we still have fun news!! Mother’s Day is around the corner and our annual Mother’s Day Gift Certificate sale starts April 10th!  Mom is always there for us in our time of need and takes care of everyone else before taking time for herself. Let’s show that we care and appreciate all that she has done for us by giving the gift of relaxation!  Especially with the closing of schools for the rest of the year, now more than ever is time to pay her back for her dedication to keeping the family together.  Sale prices are $10 OFF a 60 minute massage and $15 OFF a 90 minute massage.  Online and in-office sale prices available starting April 10th!

Thank you!

We can not thank you enough for your support and being a part of the Body Logic family.  We’ve always had your back and we are thankful you have ours. Updates will continue to be sent via email and posted on our Facebook page.  And we look forward to seeing you for your next appointment!

Immune Support: Self-care and Prevention Tips!

Have you ever noticed that some people are more prone to getting sick than others?  Have you ever heard someone say ‘If I get sick, It’s going to turn into bronchitis?’  Have you ever asked yourself “WHY?”

While the world continues to live in fear of the COVID-19 pandemic, this is the best time to look in the mirror and ask yourself “What can I control?”

You Can Control Taking Care of You!

Lifestyle choices have an incredible impact on the strength of your immune system.  And the strength of your immune system directly impacts how well your body can fight illness, including illnesses caused by viruses.

Lifestyle choices that support a healthy, strong immune system include:

  1. Eat a diet rich with fruits, vegetables, and healthy proteins!  Foods with fewer ingredients on the food label are typically good choices.  Shopping the perimeter of the store is your best bet to avoid foods full of preservatives and chemicals.  The less work it takes for your body to digest it’s food, the better!
  2. Avoid sugar!!  We’re stressed out, staying home, and bored… typically the perfect combination for a nice sugary treat.  BUT that’s not the best for your immune system!  Consistent high sugar intake causes inflammation in the body.  And the combination of sugar and inflammation leads to other disease processes such as heart disease and Diabetes, which does NOT naturally support a strong immune system.
  3. Drink water… and lots of it!  You’re stuck in the house right now, no complaining about the numbers of times you’re hitting the bathroom.  Click here to learn why water is so important.  There’s a reason why you hear it from our doctors and massage therapists ALL the time!
  4. Stay active! Increasing blood circulation throughout the body helps on so many levels- from helping circulate nutrients around the body to supporting the elimination of toxins and waste out of the body.  Exercising the heart, our most important muscle, strengthens it to withstand other health challenges.  Endorphins are released from the brain with physical activity, helping reduce stress levels.  And there are many more reasons…
  5. Rest and maintain a healthy sleep schedule!  The body requires down time in order to heal and recover from the previous days activities.  This is particularly true when you are under additional mental and emotional stress.  The better we sleep, the stronger the immune system.  Click here to learn more.  There’s no better time than now to catch up on those extra Zzzzzz’s as the world hunkers down to be safe.

Other Resources for Immune Support

Wouldn’t it be great if simply following the above recommendations resulted in super-human immune system strength??  But that’s not always the case.  Stress is one of the biggest challenges we face when trying to maintain or improve the immune system.

Let Standard Process supplement the vitamins and minerals you need!

Standard Process Whole Food Nutrient Solutions provide the best quality vitamins and minerals that the body can readily use.  With their various combination of nutrients and variety of products, there’s something for everyone!  Specifically designed products for immune support are available.  For general health needs, we use a Systems Survey.  Based on the results of the survey we are able to narrow down recommended products on an individual basis.  Dr. Amanda is offering to review your systems survey for FREE To facilitate access to these high quality supplements.  Simply fill out the Systems Survey and drop it off or email it to frontdesk@bodylogicvb.com.  Please include your name and contact information so we can contact you directly!  We carry many products in the office.  And there is access to even more through ordering online.  NOTE: these products are physician-regulated and should not be purchased through Amazon or other re-sellers to ensure you are getting the product you wish to purchase.

The power of the Chiropractic Adjustment

Using the chiropractic adjustment, we support the things you can control!  Maintaining spinal alignment and mobility often results in better sleep quality.  There is also endorphin release and stress reduction immediately following your adjustment.  Besides pain reduction, there’s good reason you simply feel better after getting adjusting!  Our doctors are also great accountability partners, helping patients achieve different lifestyle goals on a daily basis.  We help people move better, feel better, and live better!

The need for mental and emotional support during this time…

The current state of the world can be challenging for many different reasons.  No matter what hat you wear in life (sometimes many different hats!), it helps to surround yourself with quality support systems.   As a mom, wife, doctor, business owner, and more, Dr. Amanda understands the importance of having that those support systems in place.  Here are two local resources she uses and highly recommends:

Arnel Tanyag with Tanyag and Company. Dr. Amanda has been utilizing Arnel’s services as a business adviser for nearly 10 years.  He has been instrumental in establishing policies and procedures to support Body Logic as a business, while maintaining the mission and vision that is the backbone of Body Logic.

Mary Holt with All Things Possible.  Dr. Amanda has worked with Mary intermittently for the last 10 years.  Mary’s background includes helping individuals in both the personal and professional settings.  As your “accountability partner,” Mary works with you to help achieve your goals through an objective and healthy perspective.

Massage Services On Hold. Chiropractic Still Available

To our beloved Body Logic patrons:

In compliance with the state of Virginia’s closure of non-essential businesses, including the massage industry, Body Logic has elected to stop providing massage services effective Wednesday, March 24, 2020.  The closure is expected to last until April 24th, pending any potential changes made by Governor Northam or the federal government.  We are sad that we won’t be able to provide the much needed stress relief and pain management that massage offers our clients and patients.  However, we respect the need to help slow the curve.  Please keep our amazing massage therapists in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.  They work hard and care deeply for our community; and to be told to stop helping people through their gifted hands is challenging.  We are keeping in close communication with them.  They send their well-wishes and prayers for health and safety to all of you.  You may have questions regarding how this impacts you…

I’m a Body Logic massage member.  What happens now?

We are grateful for our massage members and appreciate your loyalty to our office!  Some members are unable to redeem their March massages.  That massage will be waiting for you once the restriction is lifted.  Body Logic will not debit your account for the massage membership draft for April.  We will reevaluate whether or not we will draft in May based on further guidance by our government.

I have a massage gift certificate that is going to expire.  Can I still redeem it?

We will be “freezing” all gift certificates while massage services are unavailable.  The number of days that massage is unavailable will be added to your expiration date.  We want you to get your massage!

I had a massage in the last 2 weeks.  Should I be concerned?

We want to reassure you that Body Logic has taken precautions to prevent exposure to COVID-19 for both our staff and our clients/patients.  There has been no known exposure in our office at this time.  We are compliant with CDC regulations and have increased our sanitation practices above our normal high standards.

Body Logic remains open for chiropractic services.

We feel a commitment to our community and fellow health-care professionals to remain available for chiropractic services.  Did you know the #2 reason for scheduling a doctor’s appointment is low back pain, second only to the common cold?  Given the current health status of our country, we can help lighten the load of our emergency medical staff and family practitioners.  Please know that we are here for you!

If you are a patient, you may have questions regarding how this impacts you…

What sanitary precautions is Body Logic taking?

Body Logic’s office is professionally cleaned.  In addition, our staff is taking hourly sanitary precautions, following CDC guidelines, and limiting contact among patients and staff.  Please note: we are not utilizing personal protective equipment such as gloves and masks because we do not come in contact with bodily fluids.  Due to the worldwide shortage, we feel it is important that PPE is best used by our healthcare professionals coming in direct contact with the virus.

I fall under the high-risk category.  OR someone in my house falls under the high-risk category.  Should I still come to my appointment?

That is entirely up to you!  We are taking sanitary precautions noted above, but completely understand if you prefer to remain home to be safe.  We are making daily reminder calls to find out if you will be attending your scheduled appointment.  If you know in advance that you prefer to cancel or reschedule, please feel free to contact us first at 757-427-0355.

How can we help keep Body Logic safe?

The health and safety of our staff and clients/patients is of the utmost importance.  Here’s how you can help:

  • If you are exhibiting any signs of illness, particularly coughing, fever, or shortness of breath, please call and cancel/reschedule your appointment.
  • If someone in your home is exhibiting any signs of illness, we ask that you call and cancel/reschedule your appointment.
  • If someone comes with you to your appointment, please ask that person to wait in the vehicle while you are in your appointment to limit unnecessary exposure.
  • If you have small children that you must bring with you to your appointment, please limit the number of toys you bring from your home to 1/child.  We also ask that you bring sanitary items such as hand sanitizing wipes with you to help us save our supply for your fellow patients.
  • Please wait to enter the office until your appointment time to prevent unnecessary contact with other patients.

Are office hours changing?

Yes.  A big THANK YOU to everyone that responded to the survey sent over the weekend, we have been able to start planning with data.  Change is necessary to ensure the health and safety of our community as well as the financial state of Body Logic.  We are working to finalize office hours and staffing to become effective Monday, March 30, 2020.   Please be on the lookout for another announcement later this week!  Body Logic will be closed on Saturdays until massage services resume.

We thank you for your support and understanding as we adapt to the current circumstances in our community, city, state, country, and world.  For the most up-to-date information, please follow us on Facebook.

Body Logic is Open

We want to reassure our patients and clients that your health and safety is our first concern. Body Logic will remain open unless circumstances change. We are taking sanitary precautions and will continue to monitor CDC recommendations. As always, we will do our best to protect our patients and clients as we continue to pray for our community.

It’s time for focusing on personal health and keeping your immune system as strong as possible. The products and services at Body Logic are intended to have a positive impact on your health.  We recommend keeping your appointments unless you experience symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, dry cough, and/or shortness of breath) or you are  in the high risk category for exposure. We also encourage you to display healthy habits and follow the CDC’s recommendations for protecting your health and the health of others:

  • Stay home when you are sick.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, and then dispose of it in the garbage.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
