What Is Diversified Technique?
Diversified Technique uses a “high velocity, low amplitude” adjustment, meaning the motion is performed very quickly and therefore does not require a lot of force to obtain the desired effect of improved joint mobility. This is the most common form of chiropractic adjustment. This is a hands-on technique designed to restore proper joint motion, stretch muscles in the area, and regulate stimulation to the nervous system by quickly applying a small amount of force to the joint. This technique often produces a “popping” or “cracking” sound which is commonly associated with chiropractic treatment as pressure is released from the joint as it is adjusted.
