Nutrition Counseling in Virginia Beach
Nutrition has an incredible impact on our overall health and well-being. Making healthy dietary choices can have a positive effect, whereas poor dietary choices can have a negative effect. But how do you know what your body needs? Dr. Amanda’s personal health journey, along with her formal education (Master’s Degree in Applied Clinical Nutrition), helps patients make the best choices for their individual needs. The first step to determining your needs is to schedule an initial consultation.

What to Expect?
Dr. Amanda will ask questions and discuss many of the different areas of life affected by your nutritional status, including your health history, dietary choices, energy levels, digestion, sleep quality, and much more. She uses the notes from the initial consultation, results from completed questionnaires, and your blood work history to determine the best nutritional approach for your health and your goals.
The initial appointment is 45 minutes. Dr. Amanda will gather information needed to determine the necessary steps to achieve your personal goals. The first follow-up appointment (30 minutes) will be scheduled for approximately 10 days after the initial appointment. In the first follow-up visit, Dr. Amanda will present her recommendations for achieving your personal goals. Future appointments are determined based on the recommendations provided in the first follow-up visit.
