Our Body Logic family is growing! This past month we had the pleasure of adding two new massage therapist, JoAnn and Denise. Below is a little more about them and their style of massage. Don’t forget to call and book your next massage with any of our four massage therapist!
As a recent graduate of Cayce/Reilly School of Massage Therapy, JoAnn left with a mission to support individuals in achieving life balance through personal wellness. A firm believer in the inseparable connection between body/mind and the body’s ability to heal itself, JoAnn believes that massage therapy can be one of the many paths to restoring health and wholeness to the body. Her work incorporates deep Swedish techniques with effective neuromuscular, myofascial and trigger-point therapy, as well as stretching techniques to help clients attain balance and well-being. Her touch is highly intuitive, and each massage is tailored to meet her client’s needs. JoAnn’s interest in the movement of the human body and it’s intricacies propels her to continue her education with training and certification in prenatal/postpartum massage, craniosacral therapy, and advanced training in neuromuscular therapy, myofacial release and sports massage. JoAnn is a professional member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP), and a Professional Birth Doula.
JoAnn is an avid runner that enjoys spending time with her husband and four children camping, hiking and being outdoors.
Denise graduated from Cayce/Reilly School of Massage Therapy in August of 2014. She has always been interested in massage therapy for all the benefits it has to offer a variety of individuals. Denise finds relaxation when providing massage services to others and enjoys the relaxation it brings them. Previously working at a spa she was able to learn more Swedish-style techniques and has been able to incorporate them into her own tailored routine. Having an appreciation for knowledge she plans to continue learning new techniques to help Body Logic’s clients and patients in a more clinical setting. She also plans to focus on reflexology in the future as there are many additional benefits that can be gained from addressing the energy pathways of the body.
